● What do toxins do, and why should I avoid them?
Toxins are chemicals used in cosmetics and other products for various purposes, some as preservatives and others as dyes, fragrances, actives etc. Multiple studies have revealed that these toxins may have serious side effects some of which are life-threatening. Constant use of some toxins like formaldehyde,1-4 dioxane, parabens etc has been found to be leading to cancer. Other side effects include learning disabilities, eczema, skin ageing & early puberty.
● What are some of the toxins I can spot on the label?
A small guide to common toxins is mentioned below, read the ingredients & try and avoid products especially for you with anything that has: Parabens Mineral Oil Fragrances(can contain phthalates) PEG(Poly Ethylene Glycols) Sodium Laureth Sulfate/SLES MEA, DEA, TEA(Ethanolamines) Triclosan Talc(may contain asbestos) Homosalate & Octinoxate(found in sunscreens) Sulphates Silicones
● Why should I prefer Vedayuu over so many other products available in the market?
We as Ayurvedic enthusiasts want the best and the safest products for our family. But the hard truth is, the majority of Ayurvedic brands available in the Indian markets contain harmful toxins like parabens, phthalates, fragrances, mineral oils etc which no family member would even want anywhere around their family. Vedayuu is the only “Made Safe” certified toxin-free brand in India which is free of all known toxins which are banned in most countries. More importantly, more than just a brand, we make our products out of love and care. We use what we sell ourselves.
● Are the products Eco-friendly, Non- toxic, Dye and Fragrance-free and non allergic?
Yes, Vedayuu is made in eco-friendly GMP certified facilities and carries no toxins, dyes, fragrances or anything which is even close to the word ‘unsafe’. All our products are clinically tested to be hypoallergenic.We always recommend first testing the product by applying it on the wrist to check if there is any visible reaction. This should be a mandatory practise for all products across all brands for all age groups
● Are the oil, shampoo and conditioners paraben-free?
Absolutely. As a matter of fact, all our products are not just paraben-free but also free from Phthalates, PEG,DEA,Fragrances,Dyes,Formaldehyde and other ingredients which isn’t suitable for the kids.With Vedayuu products, you will have one brand which is certified 100% safe for us, and with that, you will have one less thing to worry about.
● Do you use preservatives?
Yes, and here is why: water-based skincare and cleaning products without preservatives can get contaminated and breed harmful bacteria and microorganisms. That said we do not use harmful preservatives like parabens, phenoxyethanol etc. but instead use safe preservative systems usually used for food products
● Are your products available in any offline stores?

● Have you tested your products on animals?
No. We do not support animal testing. Plus, how can you test a product on an animal? Right? However, we have clinically tested all our products on humans with patch testing to ensure no product causes any allergy. VEDAYUU believes in Ayurveda, and Ayurveda believes in caring for all living beings. It's SAFE
● Is it possible to return products once delivered?
Yes, if you are unsatisfied with our products( the chances of which are the bare minimum), please write to us at info@vedayuu.com. We will ask you to return the products and ensure a full refund.
● What is your product range?
We have products for all genders above 16, natural beauty products and traditional recipes.
● I find the smell of the products very strong.?
We use only essential oils to add fragrance to our products, instead of using an artificial fragrance that may contain phthalates. The essential oils that we add to the products are beneficial for the hair/skin.
